I'm sorry to hear that Jennie! wow, you don't even think about the possiblility of getting pulled while spending so much time there. How many friends did you have? |

wow..... crazy stuff.... I don't have a my space account, but I do have many of my paintings in photobucket and one nude painting was deleted from my PRIVATE album one day... I don't know how that could have happened, however, I wrote to customer service and they reinstated the image. I think these websites have these policies because there are lots of kids and teenagers, actually mainly kids and teenagers using the site, so it's one way they are trying to keep it 'safe', but with such little manpower no wonder it's not operating properly. In any case, I never opened an account there exactly for that reason, that it seemed more for the young and restless... I'm not a fan of facebook either, though I do have an account there, only because it seems a bit more mature, yet I'm under the impression the policies are similar... |

I just sold 2 paintings on My Space yesterday from my "Art For Sale" album. I sale one a week in my blog auctions and about 4 or so a month from My Spacers....and they arent teenagers.
All of life involves risk. I could lose my account and no doubt it would piss me off to redo things. But for now I will enjoy the sales.....
As it stands my sales on My Space have outpaced my sales on Boundless by far. And no added 3% fee. |

I advertise on the site, they message me, I PayPal them. It is pretty neat and clean.
And I do blog auctions that they bid on by commenting. The winner gets a PayPal invoice.
So far it has been smooth sailing. :) |

I was talking to some people about some sales when my account got pulled *sigh*
facebook actually has better written guidelines, they have no problem with my works :D I am still trying to get a detailled response, I've also contacted people i know who might be able to help.. meanwhile I'm focussing on my blog again, just made a sale from it today actually! :D
Sharon- What would you do if something happened to yours? how would you go about starting again? |

Jennie....I am a pretty resilient creature. When something bad happens I use it as a catalyst for something better.
Maybe I would switch to Facebook. I would def. look into that option.
I have found that basically my work sells wherever I put the energy into selling it. So as long as I keep that attitude, then I do not worry or get upset about things that "might" happen. If they do, then I just decide where I want to put my energy next. |
