Sharon,

Big fan of your work! Have had my eye on Starry Night since the first time I viewed the painting, very unusual. Also...
Love Tropical Fish and Yellow Color. Both would make
complementary pieces. Great color schemes, love the way
all the colors work together.

'Green Peace' is gorgeous Cesar, do you use acrylics. How do you get that 'blown glass' effect??

Thank you Laurel!

No...I haven't used acrylics yet, but have been considering
trying them for a different effect. Believe it or not...the
blown glass effect just happened. You see, all of my
"Plasmic Art" is just watercolors on glass, swirled around
using acetate and sometimes a bit of karo syrup for separation and bubbles. I play with color, lines, swirls and bubbles until I come up with an image that pleases me.

Cesar...your work is awesome. I love the bold colors. Big fan. I have a few pieces at home where I used acrylic on glass. I then framed them. Kind of a reverse painting. However, I have never attempted to sell any like this.

How do you photograph them? All that glare......Do you use non-glare glass or plexi-glass?

I did sell one on plexi-glass years ago.

Do tell......

Thanks Sharon,

I've created a kind of "Soft Box" tool, and do the photos inside my soft box room. No flash is used, so no glare or reflections to worry about. Tri-pod, ladder, and long exposures. Crazy no? All for the love of art.

I wish I lived close to you so I could check out your set up. I dont think I will change my current system (paint and canvas) as it is working well. But love the way paint looks on glass. :)

true Sharon....i have made couple of oil paintings on glass...they look awesome....that reverse look is good but the fact you cannot feel the color also fascinates sometimes...did any one tried the natural colors....colors from flowers like rose petals, marigold petals......they come out very beautiful.....!!
paintings out of them with black outline are very famous in India!!

Thank you Melinda. I would think my Pure Water style/color would look great on glass with a white wall behind it...hmmmmm
