Okay, I'm back. Gosh, I didn't think blog was going to make it Hi John. Sherry, you are sure welcome...it's just us so far but I'm trying to get some of my students who are computer savvy to join Boundless. Isn't it great? I just love this site. It's a great place to grow. |

Didn't know you wrote here Sherry. Just sent you a message to tell some of the art scene here. Mostly it is a gallery hop each month in what they call the art area. About a dozen galleries that cover a wide range of style and talent. A few more upscale galleries around town. They do rather well. A few art shows each summer. One big one by the river each year I think in June. The usual but very big. Some shows and abilities to show at the various colleges and there are a number of art organizations all of which have at least one show a year. In all it isn't bad but still a lot of shows doesn't always mean a lot of sales. From what I've seen it is rather spotty and the area, as far as sales go, is still rather conservative but others may disagree. I'm not really into the area's scene that much so don't know as much. |

Seems to me you should but I'm very new here myself. [grin] Also, rather new to selling in Ohio to any real extent. Have had a few shows in Columbus, both solo and group, but none lately. Hoping to open a larger studio here by end of spring. |

Haven't been on BG too long. Since Dec. Selling seems to be picking up so that is a good thing. Just saw the group and felt I had to join. Living in Clintonville. Hello, Mindy. Thanks for all the kinds words over the past few weeks. |

I'm living in columbus, Ohio, and teaching at Upper Arlington Senior Recreation, Lifelong Learning and Leisure, Dublin Community Recreation Center and Franklin Park Conservatory. I'm pretty much retired though and this is just for a little excitement. I'm hoping to connect to other Columbus artists. Let me know if you are out there! |
