Here's a question for the group: how has everyone's sales been from their portfolio on Boundless? Have you gotten many people contacting you for more information on your photography? If you have had some success, have you learned anything about the Boundless Customer that you could pass on to the group? |

Poor, very few leads.... Customers who come here to BG are maybe only looking for art in the sense of paints??? The mystery question.... |

I suspect the CURRENT traffic on Boundless is mostly shopping for paintings. That's one of the reasons I wanted us photographers to band together as a group - to see if we could do some collective marketing to drive photography traffic to the site. I've been with Boundless for just over a year and have had some activity - but not nearly what I'd like it to be. |

I'm new to BG, just a little over a month here and with a small inventory. I haven't had any sales or even customer contacts "YET" but I really do have a very strong gut feel that there is a great potential here if I (we) can find the right format for our work (prints only vs matting vs framed vs digital downloads maybe ?). The traffic viewing my photos is impressive so I'm optomistic that this will be a suppliment to my real world sales which is mostly in the warmer months via craft shows and festivals in the NE US. |

Mark - take a closer look at that traffic viewing. How many hits are search bots and how many are registered users? |

Margaret- Right, not many registered buyers for sure. So how do we change that is the question? I'm curious as to the success of other photographers here...what is the BG buyer looking for re: photographs? How do they use them? what format and size is in demand? What price range should we structure our inventory for? |

I've been trying to figure out that one myself. Take a look at the best sellers. There are a couple of photographers listed among them. How do they compare to your prices/inventory? |

I just took a look at the top sellers..hummmmm, how many photographers there, ahem...zero (well one multi media artist) so that tells me that one of us can fill the void! "Let us be happy and ever rue!" :-) |

Mark - my point exactly! : ) I think we need to drive some photography traffic to Boundless. There are certainly enough of us and why should our other fine art media friends get all the attention? How do you promote your Boundless gallery? |

I have never had a registered buyer look at my work. |
