I've sold some aceos, but for me it takes a long time to do the miniature work and I don;t usually get what i want for it.

I know what you mean Miriam. I did a few ACEOs in the beginning for fun but was frustrated with how low the prices are for most ACEOs. Consequently so many people don't want to pay enough for them. You have to have a niche to really make a decent amount of money. Of course there are a lot of artists who make them purely for the enjoyment as well. : )

My idea is to make them purely for online trading. But actually I prefer the 4 x 6 size, that has mats that make them a standard 5" x 7" size........Easy to frame with a ready made frame. The slightly larger size works for small shorws and gifts.

Janeice- I love your ACEOs- I did get a chance to look at them!

I enjoy making the small format art , too, like 4x6. I don't feel like i need to make large pieces all the time.
