I would like to try the newspaper angle. I live between two very large cities, Dallass & Ft. Worth. They have very large newspapers, and it might be hard to get their attention. Then, there is the paper in Arlington. Maybe I can try them-again.

Some smaller communities within larger ones have papers. Those are good too.

Think like a journalist. They are always under pressure to come up with stories that have new "angles". Also another way to get "free publicity" is to join charitable shows that will include all the names of the artists in their publicity stories.

I think an artist who is serious about online business should have his/her own web site where the artist has a total control over the content, including the programming codes. According to a survey, more artists sell art in their own web sites than in online galleries like BG or yessy.

What I find is that BG's $1 per day thing doesn't really bring traffic. I use them as "better than nothing."

but the point is I don't know much about programming codes. @.@

I don't know programming codes either, but I just cut and paste things around. I use search engines to find tutorials and instructions to learn how to do things.

I am now very afraid of sending messages to anyone in facebook. Facebook account can be suddenly removed even though you are not spamming. It appears that anyone who sends a lot of messages to a lot of people regardless of the content of the message can be deleted without warning.

Very tough world here...

If you keep producing new works and keep posting them you get more traffic to your profile because many buyer are often looking at "Newest Art" section. If something catches their eyes they click on it.

You can also do payperclicks but that can be expensive. I also love the book "Making a Living As an Artist", it is full of great advice on numbers and suggestions!
