-Resolving uncertainty? -Giving form to our experiences? -Seeking emotional relief? -Declaring what we believe? -Expressing our belief system?Personally I'm seeking emotional relief thru my painting and drawing, it's a process that soothes the soul. What about you? |

as I teach oil painting, most of mine is class samples but my seascapes are all for me but if I sell one that is good too. I work with a DD client that needs 24/7 care so it is my stress relief too. Wish I could sell more as I have about 400 paintings here....need more place...... |

Being ourselves. I think most artists would agree that they don't create art for a "purpose," they create art because on some level they have to. It's less of a choice and more of a need. Individual pieces are created to fit the circumstance at hand. That could be anything from a commission to a bad dream. just my thoughts, -TJ |

I'm trying to get back in touch with my soul. The soul search is something I believe only can happen in silence. Visual arts allows this to occur. |
